Japanese Fireman's Coat


Impeccably crafted WWII era Japanese Fireman's coat in remarkable condition, with a beautiful patina and original brass Sakura buttons. The heavy Sashiko stitch fabric, woven on long defunct looms, was traditionally soaked in water before being worn to protect the wearer from the fire.
